Here we provide a brief review of the Panasonic TX-P46G20. The TX-P46G20 is Panasonic's plasma flat screen television with freesat, vivid moving picture quality, and boasts advanced networking capabilities. The flat panel weighs up to thirty five kilograms with the stand and has a limited ten degree horizontal swivel range.

Picture quality is among the strengths of this Panasonic plasma screen. The plasma provides an angle free view with a natural vision filter. More eye popping is the 2,000,000 to 1 dynamic contrast ratio. As high as that may seem, the more comparable metric is the native contrast ratio which stands at 40,000 to 1. However, these numbers are mostly manipulated for marketing purposes. At the end of the day, the best measurement technique is the eye test.

Among the enhancements, includes the Intelligent Frame Creation Pro which is driven by a 600 hertz sub field drive. The Intelligent Frame Creation technology allows for a more fluid picture quality reducing fuzzy or ghost images. The Panasonic TX-P46G20 also have four types of picture modes: dynamic, normal, cinema, and game.

The audiophiles have the typical Speaker system on the bottom of the panel. The audio output provides for the standard twenty watt power. There are, however, only two sound modes available, music and speech. The plasma screen does have virtual surround sound capability, as well as Digital Dolby Plus.

For adding Components the Panasonic TX-P46G20 has three HDMI ports, two in the rear and one on the side. These are useful for attaching high definition Components, such as blue ray disc players. Also available are the S-video input, PC input, Monitor out, and digital audio out. The panel also includes the VIERA Image viewer, which is virtually a standard feature for most high end Panasonic flat screens. This feature allows for images to be directly viewed on the plasma screen from digital cameras or other Components. There is also a separate SD memory card slot.

One unique feature of the Panasonic TX-P46G20 is the freesat tuner. This capability removes the need for an additional set top box or converter for receiving video transmissions. The freesat tuner allows for over a hundred and forty different television and radio channels to be viewed, along with over seventy hours of high definition cable programming from BBC and ITV.

The Panasonic TX-P46G20 is also environmentally friendly. The screen comes with a screensaver, Eco mode, and a game mode. Each mode is specifically tuned to be energy efficient. One feature of the Eco mode is that it adjusts the back light depending on the ambient light in order to conserve energy. The plasma screen also comes with an off timer and multi window function.

In short, the Panasonic TX-P46G20 meets all the expectations one would have from a plasma flat screen from Panasonic. It has a solid picture quality, which is what one buys a television of this quality for. Do review the Panasonic TX-P46G20 if you're looking for a new TV set.

The Panasonic folks have given us a camera that will fill the bill when it comes to a pocket travel digital camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS7 has amazing benefits for the individual who wants to get great photos and video without having to pack (and carry) an extra arsenal of camera equipment.

What do you look for in a travel camera?

* The first thing you want in any camera, travel or not, compact or digital SLR, is great image quality. If a camera meets all the requirements you want for a travel camera, yet does not deliver the crisp, clear images you want, it is not worth your consideration.

* Next, you want the digital camera to provide coverage of almost every photo op you come across, whether you are riding on a gondola in Venice and see the quintessential scenes of the canals that just beg to be shot, or you are touring the Chicago Botanical gardens where you want to get a close-up of the newest variety of peony flower. A wide range of focal lengths will let you accomplish this without having to switch cameras or lenses.

* Also important in today's photographic equipment is the incorporation of digital video. You want the same flexibility in video you have in still photo mode.

* Another nice feature to include would be a GPS record of where you took the shot, especially if you are going to several locations during your travels.

Believe it or not, all these are included in the Panasonic Lumix ZS7. People are taking this pocket camera all over the world and reporting excellent results.
